OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ANSWERED HERE

Are there any additional costs I might be expected to pay during construction?

Our aim is to always keep additional costs to a minimum. A key component to our service is our exceptional ability to quote accurately; something we truly take pride in.
Unfortunately, from time to time, unforeseen issues or circumstances may arise during the construction phase. In this case, we would meet with you, present all the relevant information about the issue, discuss any resolutions and then present the costings and time impact associated with each option.

Should we take out contents insurance during construction?

It is imperative that you communicate with your insurance company and advise that you are undertaking building works with a licensed builder. Our comprehensive insurance covers public liability and the theft of construction materials and equipment.
A superior course of action is to remove any belongings from your home before the building works commence. This will provide you with peace of mind as well as protecting your items from any dust and debris that may accumulate.

What happens if we want to make changes?

As soon as you consider making a change during the building process, we recommend that you communicate with us immediately. Even if it is just an initial thought, the sooner our team know of your intentions, the sooner we can address them. The later you request a change, the more difficult and more expensive it can become.
As part of our communications strategy, we will schedule regular meetings with you, keeping you up-to-date with the progress of your construction.

How long does a project like this take?

As a highly-organised and process-driven business, we regularly complete our works well before the contract end date. We find that most of our jobs take between six and twelve months depending on their scale. As an approximation, we would suggest that eight months is where you should set your expectations.
